“Jeff! Many thanks for writing in. Just took a spin on your blog and it’s awesome. I can vouch for Mac–he lives in Wellfleet (where I live) and is a wicked good guy. His Ptown spot is worth a visit–especially for the $1 oyster happy hour which I think runs every day. Re: skiing–not sure if you do the cross-country thing, but if we ever get snow again I can clue you in to some great Cape Cod National Seashore trails–particularly Paradise and Lombard Hollows near the Wellfleet/Truro line. I have to disagree with the Captain Parker’s chowder assessment–too damn thick! I much prefer the version at PJs in Wellfleet–thinner and amazing–they open next month and it’s like a national holiday in Wellfleet! PJs is also a big fave of food TV star Duff Goldman who went to high school in Sandwich. Carry on with your excellent work!”
